As Close As I Wanna Get

You know, I’ve just about had it with the irrationality of human beings around the world these days.  What has happened to cogent reasoning?  With putting yourself in the other person’s shoes?  Where is the practice that espouses, ‘do unto others as you would have them do unto you?’   

Why do those who scream the loudest for ‘tolerance’ conduct themselves with grotesque IN-tolerance?  It’s laughable, really.  Watching the news or reading what’s happening around the world is akin to witnessing a macabre play, whose actors are all certifiably insane!   

The Bible really gives the best description of what these last days would be like.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t state, “The majority of people will be altogether devoid of sound reasoning or decision making skills involving any level of empathy whatsoever, so don’t think you’re the one who has lost your ever loving mind.”  I kind of wish it did.  Life would make more sense. 

God bless Paul.  He clearly warned us, but my word, I never thought I’d actually witness such a mass exodus of civil deportment and common courtesy during my lifetime!  2 Timothy 3: 1-5 spells it out. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof:  from such turn away.”  Verse 7 says, “Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 

I remember reading this when I was, oh say, 10 years old or so, and being unable to imagine people acting like that.  And people were jerks even back then!  Whoohoo was I naïve!  Now, you must understand that I grew up in evangelistic type churches.  As a kid, I took my fair share of nice, slobbery naps on padded church pews during Sunday night services, and attended more revivals than I can count, and I’ve been told my whole life that Jesus is coming back.   

I remember attending a Wednesday night series on end time’s prophecy when I was a preteen.   Because that topic was rarely brought up in the pulpit, I tried to listen as best I could to the mishmash of information.  The visiting preacher had a colorful mural made of oilcloth, fastened to the baptistery, high enough so everyone could see, and spread out across the chairs in the choir loft. 

It contained painted scenes, starting with what was supposed to represent the rapture and progressing through the events spoken of in the book of Revelation.  Being a prolific reader from a very young age, I attempted several times to read Revelation but always put it down when my eyes began to cross. I got irritated with myself for not being able to understand what in the world it was talking about, and even more irritated that no one could explain it to me.  

It seemed the Christian adults in my life were embarrassed they didn’t get it either, so no one talked about it very much.  But they did seem to be pretty confident those events would happen, probably in our lifetime, so I was eager to learn as much as I could.  Unfortunately, the visiting preacher must not have been real clear on the material either, because all I remember being taught was a confusing potpourri of information.  At the end of the series, we took up the customary offering, the mural came down, he moved on to the next church and that was that.   

I was left more confused than ever about the rapture and what I could expect.  All I knew was that I had flat better be ready to go, because it would be a personal catastrophe if I was left behind. I must have gotten saved a hundred times growing up, just to make sure I was OK with God.  Whenever I couldn’t find my Mom or Dad around the house, my heart would pound with dread the rapture had occurred, and they were gone, and I was dead meat.  

As I grew and matured in the Lord, I stumbled across Hal Lindsey’s spectacular book, The Late Great Planet Earth, and devoured it within a day or so. As I started reading everything of his I could find, I knew I’d finally found a good, solid source of understanding I could sink my teeth into.  I thank God for that man to this day, and the work he continues to produce with his books and TV news show.  In my opinion, he is brilliant and I look forward to hugging his neck when we get to heaven. 

Well, life continued and like everyone else, along came the milestone steps of becoming self sufficient, moving away from home, marriage, etc., and I began to suffer the bumps and bruises and scars of hurts and disappointments, betrayals and loss that are an unfortunate reality of living life on this sin-sick world, in these decaying bodies.  

When I was very young, I remember hearing the elderly state how they were ready to go home to Jesus; that life on this ‘ol earth was just too hard and they were tired.  WHAT??  I couldn’t believe my ears!  They actually looked forward to death!  Were they nuts?  

Now I know they weren’t.  I came to the same conclusion when I was 29 years old.  A horrible life changing event occurred that triggered my personal reality check, and I came to the realization that this life is simply too hard, disappointing and painful to want to live to be 100, like some people say they desire.  WHAT?? Are they nuts?  My, have the tables turned! 

Anyway, for the last 20 years, I’ve longed to go home where I really belong.  Don’t get me wrong, God has poured—not sprinkled—poured blessings out on me, drowning me in His favor.  I scratch my head and wonder why, because it sure isn’t anything I’ve done!  I certainly don’t deserve the wonderful things and people He has provided, and I’m extremely grateful! 

I’m not wealthy but on the other hand, the days of having to pinch pennies until they scream are over.  And you know what?  You know what I’ve discovered?  ‘Stuff’ is completely overrated.  No kidding.  For instance, you want an up-to-date wardrobe?  Yippy, you go shopping, but then what happens?  Now you have more clothes to wash and iron.  

You want that car that makes you drool?  What happens when you get it?  The new car smell wears off the second time you eat French fries while you’re driving, and you quickly get used to the vehicle, so the magic quickly disappears.  Oh, it’s still a great ride but the thrill doesn’t last very long!  You know I’m right. 

You find your dream home and manage to finagle a way to afford it.  You move in, and oh…it’s so nice and big and pretty.  But then what happens?  The cat pees on the carpet and there goes that! Then you begin to notice all the little things that need maintenance on that dream home.  It’s always something sucking your wallet dry.  Constantly. After a few short years living with kids and animals, you notice it’s looking worn and not so impressive anymore, and you begin to see decay. The upkeep is never ending.  

Are you a jewelry fan like me?  You ogle the display cases in the mall with their perfect lighting, and linger over the catalogues that come in the mail, while you drop hints about that upcoming anniversary or birthday. After several years, you accumulate some of those beautiful, sparkly baubles you wanted so badly, but then you notice you really don’t wear them all that much.  I mean, how stupid is that?   

I do have a point, and it is this: I’ve known some mighty hard times which made me long to go home to heaven.  Although I’ve since been tremendously blessed, I still long to go home to heaven.  It’s my highest desire. There’s just nothing here worth striving for.  Honestly. Getting ‘stuff’ is great, but it doesn’t scratch that itch only God can reach. 

I was just made aware of an article stating that America is the most materialistic nation to ever exist in the history of mankind.  One of the examples it gave was a website named, Rich Kids of Instagram.  It’s a blog of photos and captions from teens and young adults, boasting about how they spend their parent’s wealth.  Here is how the Washington Post describes this site: 

The controversial new Tumblr is a collection of snapshots from the photo-sharing site that depicts the children of wealth and privilege---summering in the Hamptons, lounging on yachts and posing by their luxury cars.  One does a back flip out of a helicopter near St. Tropez.  Others snap pictures of their restaurant bills---allegedly paying thousands of dollars for lobster, champagne and high-end liquor.  In the warm patina of the Instagram, the youngsters appear to be living over-the-top lifestyles---and enjoying every moment.  One boasts, “Our everyday is better than your best day,” reads one caption, a bit tauntingly. “Do you have a horse in your backyard?  Didn’t think so.” 

No, sport, I don’t. However, nothing but the rear end of a horse would display such an arrogant attitude in posing a question which reflected so poorly on his parent’s child rearing skills. Mummy and Daddy must be SO proud, unless your participation on this morally bankrupt site is just one more betrayal you hide from them. 

Interestingly enough, this article also featured a chart showing that in the last 50 years, the national debt has grown from less than a trillion dollars to nearly 55 trillion.  Actually, it’s much more than that, but it depends on how you figure it.  The chart started measuring in 1962, the year before we banned God from our schools. Again, our eternal gratitude goes out to that self important, loudmouthed, pushy, Godless broad, Madeline Murray O’Hare.  (Hey, it’s not slander if it’s true and she’s dead!) 

In my relatively short lifetime of 49 years, the outright assault on Almighty God has degenerated into a new flavor of psychotic, obsessive-compulsive disorder.  It’s insane actually, the degree of vitriol and contempt an ever growing segment of the public seems to harbor against the One who founded and blessed this country.  

Evidence of the hateful, demonic spirit fueling this assault is barely disguised anymore. You can clearly see disproportionate overreactions to the things of God in our culture.  Speak God’s name publically, or put up a nativity scene in a public place at Christmas time, and watch all hell convulse in fury.  It’s sadly amusing, really.  And these days, all too predictable. 

Now, we have the aggressive, brazen, ever encroaching Islamic culture metastasizing like a deadly cancer in our country, its adherents breeding like rabbits to gain a nice, solid foothold in our communities and governments.  And those mullah’s in the Middle East have the unmitigated gall to demand the world capitulate in groveling agreement, to refrain from doing or saying anything they might interpret as an insult to Islam or their thieving, lying, girly-man, pedophile, make-up-the-rules-as-he-goes, false ‘prophet’ Muhammad.  (It’s not slander if it’s true and he’s dead!) 

They claim the right to dictate to Western civilization, indeed the entire planet, what words should be considered a crime to utter. Wow. Just wow.  We have to sit and watch our morally corrupt, spineless government officials kowtow and lick the sandals of the rioting, barbaric mobs, while apologizing for some lame film trailer that 99% of them haven’t even seen, as they continue to pillage, destroy and murder our citizens who are there to offer assistance and bridge cultural understanding.   

Here’s a news flash, Nation of Islam…non-Islamic societies REALLY DON’T CARE IF YOU’RE OFFENDED!   Contrary to your wildest fantasies, the world doesn’t revolve around your sham religion’s worship of some ancient moon god, which is leading you straight to the hell you wish upon Christians and Jews.  And it never will. 

These people wake up every morning in a cold sweat, just aching for a reason to riot and pitch violent, temper tantrums. It’s literally in their DNA as descendants of Ishmael; ‘a wild man whose hand will be against every man, and every man’s hand against him.’   If some ‘infidel’ happens to pass gas in the public square on the third Tuesday of the month, while facing north and wearing black pants, well heck!  That’s as good an excuse as any to lose their collective minds, throw rocks and Molotov cocktails and tear up their own infrastructure.  Real productive behavior there, folks.  

They are miserable human beings who are kept dirt poor and ignorant by their satanic religion, and they’re constantly told the rest of the world are their oppressors, when it’s their own religious leaders who are holding them back from freedom, prosperity and happiness. The grand lie of Islam will be the damnation of millions upon millions of people who genuinely, but ignorantly think they are serving the true God. The vast majority don’t want to hear the gospel of Jesus. And that really is very sad! 

Oh, by the way, good move, Washington, for sending an openly homosexual man to an Islamic country to be our ambassador!  Why didn’t you just dip him in chicken blood and throw him to the alligators?  And where are the roving bands of enraged sodomites, marching around our nation’s capital, protesting this guy’s death?  Better yet, why don’t they go to Libya and protest, since they’re so fond of being obnoxious and confrontational?  

Good grief, I really am weary of this life.  Duplicitous, corrupt governments, all vying to rule the New World Order, which will result in the annihilation of billions of people. Natural disasters increasing in intensity and occurrence.  Religious and cultural differences which will NEVER be bridged by mankind, making world peace impossible.  Disease and starvation spreading like never before.  Globalist engineered economic collapse is poised to crash at the moment of their choosing, while spiritual darkness grows more malevolent by the hour. Yeah.  I want to live to be 100 years old.  Right.  

As these dangers grow exponentially worse every week, let me stress this again.  There is NOTHING on this earth worth clinging to.  No amount of money or fame or ‘stuff’ will satisfy you.  Your only hope of surviving the impending chaos is to escape it before it hits. Time is very short.  Are you listening?  Please wake up, snap to attention, grasp the reality of what will soon hit, and make things right with God.  

Those of us who are watching and listening for His voice, longing to leave this earth despite all the goodies it could possibly offer, we will disappear in a split second of time.  And when you realize we weren’t abducted by aliens, or whatever other lame explanation the government offers, your heart will surely pound with the dreaded knowledge you were left behind to face the most horrific era in the history of mankind.   

Ignore me or laugh off what I’m telling you, or whatever you want to do, but you know down deep in your bones that disaster is coming to the United States. Now, I don’t know what you’re thinking, but times are still relatively peaceful and livable.  Even so, what we are experiencing right now in America is as close as I EVER want to get to hell. 

Will your temporary life on this earth be the closest you ever get to heaven??

 

Pins and Needles

I don’t know about you, but I feel like I’m living on pins and needles every day.  Life as we’ve always known it here in the United States is on the cusp of changing permanently, and not for the better.  We can all feel it; even those whose hearts don’t belong to Christ are unsettled.  Even they are grappling with a sense of impending doom for which they have no explanation. 

They go out of their way to show false bravado, whistling past the graveyard so to speak, by joking about the supposed end of the world on December 21, 2012.  They talk around the lunch tables at work or commiserate with their friends over a beer at their favorite bar; trying to make some kind of sense out of the uncertain times in which we live.  

‘We should re-elect Obama and let him finish what he started.  After all, like Clinton said, no president could have turned this economy around in three and a half years.  And Obama promised change and I’m really looking forward to seeing what Obamacare will bring.’ 

‘Are you crazy??  The guy’s a communist—can’t you see that?  He’s ruining this country and wants us to become a socialist society.  Obamacare is a disaster that needs to be repealed by Congress!  No, Romney is definitely the only one who can turn this country back around.’ 

Blah, blah, blah.   

You know what folks? Hate to break it to you, but both of these men are controlled by the same puppet masters.  The very same ones!  Sometimes we call them, “The Powers That Be.”  Other people refer to them as the Globalists or the Illuminati or the architects of the New World Order.  They’re all the same people with the same goals.  

So, go ahead and close your eyes and flip a lever or toss a coin; it really doesn’t matter at this point.  America is no more.  We are toast.  Simple as that.  Sorry to burst the fantasy bubble you’re living in but that is the cold, hard truth. Whom you vote for is absolutely meaningless because the outcome of this Presidential election has already been decided, and that is that.  

Oh, they offer us the flashy Democratic and Republican conventions, complete with inspiring, soaring speeches of ‘hope’ that are dripping with such fresh b.s., we can smell the fragrance wafting into our own living rooms.  ‘They,’ (The Powers That Be, or TPTB), provide these spectacles for the sheeple of the country to convince us we actually have some power over who resides in the Oval Office.  HA!  What a crock! 

The political games and name calling and TV ads and contentious debates are for our entertainment.  Like watching some sick soap opera, we feel compelled to tune in to so we can make an ‘informed decision’ in November when we waste time and gas, standing in line to cast our useless ballot.  In the majority of states, the votes are cast on computers with questionable programming. 

These machines, manufactured by Diebold, were used as far back as the Bush/Kerry race, and very well may have been the problem with the close vote count. They are well known to occasionally fail to accurately register a person’s vote, or they might switch the vote to the other party or not register it at all.  A ‘software’ problem, you see.  Except that it continues to happen. 

Like Stalin famously said, “It’s not the people who vote that counts; it’s the people who count the votes.” 

Let me ask you something.  What strategy does a cat, of any size, use to catch prey?  Stealth.  Their prey usually knows they’re in the area and can sometimes even see them, but because the cat is hunkered down and still, the potential meal doesn’t feel threatened. The cat will crawl forward very slowly. Crawl, stop. Crawl, stop.  And when it gets close enough, it POUNCES on the unsuspecting prey, devouring it with bloody pleasure. 

What does that have to do with anything?  The American people have been stalked by those whose agenda is to destroy us.  Stalk, stop.  Stalk, stop. Executive order, stop. For three and a half years, Obama has carried out the Globalist’s plan to the letter.  Well, actually, in the last year or so he’s gotten pretty cocky and that might bode poorly for him in November.  TPTB may want to use a new face to distract the sheeple, while they continue to institute their plans.  

Like I said, there is little difference between the two. They are both puppets. So what is the agenda?  Well, if you’ve been awake at all, surely you can see that we’re being set up to be ruled by a Marxist government.  Spiritually, America is being devoured from within and will fall.  We are not mentioned as a major player in end time prophecy, so we can logically conclude this country will no longer be a superpower.  

We’re being weakened and moved out of the way to help facilitate the antichrist’s future world rule.  He could never assume power if America were still a free people with a Constitutional Republic, because we would never stand for it.  So, how is this being accomplished?  By stealth. 

Lt. Gen. (Ret.) W.G. Boykin, a former Green Beret Special Forces officer, tells how he studied Marxist insurgency as part of his training.  He lists six steps that every Marxist insurgency in history has used to overthrow leaders and institute its new government, and he warns these things are being done in America today, right in front of our unbelieving eyes.  

1.      TPTB nationalize major sectors of the economy.  This is what the bank bailouts were about, and of course, what Obamacare brings. 

2.      They go about redistributing wealth. They over tax the wealthy and set up programs which enables a great number of the population to be dependent on the government for their needs.  Hello, Obamacare.  Hello food stamps. 

3.      They discredit and demonize the opposition.  ‘The rich aren’t paying their fair share!’ or ‘They got rich because of all the tax loopholes you don’t have, and they’re crooked in their business dealings.’  ‘They plan to take your Granny’s Medicare away and push her off a proverbial cliff to get rid of her!’  What baloney. To the dismay of our military men and women, the Department of Homeland Security recently issued a memo listing what they consider to be future threats to this country. These include right-wing Christians, pro-life groups, 2^nd Amendment supporters, strict Constitutionalists and returning veterans!  Funny, they never mentioned Islamic terrorists. 

Why returning veterans, of all people??  Because they took an oath to defend the Constitution and most would be loathe to subdue or fire on American citizens if given orders to do so.  TPTB are beginning to classify veterans as mentally ill because they want to confiscate their weapons. Veterans are a huge threat to the Globalist’s plans. 

4.      They institute censorship of information and ideas the general population has access to.  Unfortunately, the main stream media, including Fox, already leans FAR left, so they’ll continue to be quite content spewing out misinformation to the public. The so-called “Hate Crimes” legislation was specifically targeted at pastors.  TPTB do NOT want preachers, standing in their pulpits, speaking out against the government, homosexuality, or the danger Islam poses to this country. To do so is ‘hateful’ and in the future, will be prosecuted.  One question…isn’t ALL crime ‘hateful?’ 

5.      They must confiscate guns from the citizens.  How can you dominate a public that can and will fight back?  Hitlery Clinton and the freak-in-chief have publically stated they will sign the United Nations Small Arms Treaty, which will supersede our 2^nd Amendment right to bear arms.  This agreement will dictate how we sell, buy and control weapons within the general population.  You wouldn’t think a UN treaty would nullify our Constitutional rights, but it will.  Freaky, huh? 

6.      And finally TPTB set themselves up with a private army called a ‘constabulary force,’ which is an armed police unit organized along military lines, according to Webster’s.  Well, isn’t that special?  You may remember when Obama was newly elected; he announced he planned to establish a National Civilian Security Force, that will be as large and as well equipped as the military.  Why? For what? 

This will entail the commissioning of officers for ‘times of national crisis’ who will work directly for the President!  Oh, you didn’t hear about this?  Well, it’s right there, plain as day in the Health Care bill!  Obamacare,  HR3590.AS  SEC. 5210.  Establishing a Ready Reserve Corps.  These soldiers will control the population in America.  You think the TSA is bad?  Huh, get ready. 

These things are happening in America right now and are the precise steps always taken to move societies into Marxism.  Hitler used them.  Mussolini used them.  Pol Pot used them.  And they are being instituted by our own corrupt, wicked government to ready America for the New World Order, whose supreme leader will be the antichrist. 

Normally, I would be jumping up and down, yelling that we have to rid ourselves of the cancer that sits in the Oval Office.  I’d be strongly recommending you vote for Mr. Romney because he seems to stand for American values and says all the right things.   

However, they ALL say the right things.  If a politician’s lips are moving they are lying.  They’ll even go so far as spending millions of dollars sealing their records and falsifying something as simple as their birth certificate in order to be elected! 

Nah, like I said, it really doesn’t matter who you vote for. That is definitely a mind bending thought, isn’t it?  If our citizens had woken up from their collective TV, celebrity, sports stupor a couple of years ago, we might have been able to stop this train in its tracks, rescue this country and preserve our way of life.  But we didn’t pay attention or listen to all those ‘kooky conspiracy theorists’ who were warning us what was happening right under our collective noses. Did ‘we?’ 

Now, it’s too late.  The ‘America’ in which we, our parents and grandparents grew up, no longer exists.  Too much water has passed under the bridge to save this thing but the average citizen is SO hypnotized by the media, nonstop noise and constant music streaming into their earplugs, they still aren’t paying attention to the erosion of their civil liberties or increasingly absurd rules the authorities are subjecting us to.  

For instance:  Over this Labor Day weekend, a passenger sitting in the boarding area

of an Ohio airport, videoed the newest atrocity the TSA is foisting upon airline passengers.  This newest ‘test’ is for the obvious purpose of conditioning the traveling sheeple to submit and respond to TSA demands on cue.  Get a load of this… 

The video shows passengers sitting quietly in the boarding area AFTER they had endured being sexually assaulted in the name of safety.  AFTER they had passed security, mind you.  Two TSA employees wandered among the people who were peacefully reading their papers and magazines, waiting to get on their flight, and proceeded to stop in front of random passengers and ask/demand to ‘test their drink for explosives.’  

Yes, you heard me!  They demanded to test the beverages of passengers who had already been cleared by security and had purchased a drink in the boarding area!   They wore very official looking blue surgical gloves, which I’m sure made them feel very special, important and authoritative.  They didn’t touch the liquid or container, but directed the passenger to hold the drink out and allow them to hold a test strip over the opening of the drink for a few seconds.  

The second agent would then place a couple of drops of super-duper, secret spy tester liquid onto the strip and wait breathlessly to see if the paper would show the presence of explosives. Naturally it wouldn’t turn up positive because the passenger HAD ALREADY BEEN CLEARED BY SECURITY!!!!           

This is harassment, pure and simple; a psy-ops experiment in conditioning, designed to teach the public to obey government authority, no matter how stupid their demands are.  

I promise you on my Mother’s life, if some TSA 10^th grade, dropout, drone asks/demands to test the drink I bought in the boarding area of an airport after I had successfully passed security, this is what I will do:  I will stand up, smile sweetly, hold my drink out and pour the entire contents out onto the carpet at the feet of the goon squad standing in front of me.  I will then loudly announce, “There you go.  Now you can test it!”  I strongly encourage you to do the same.  After all, you’re complying with their request, aren’t you? 

You can expect more and more outrages like this to occur.  Get used to it, because that’s   the way things are now. There are gonna be more TSA thugs groping you in bus stations, train stations, subway platforms, entrances to malls and movie theatres.  They’ll be more military checkpoints to sit through so they can, for no probable cause whatsoever, demand to search your car, just for the heck of it.  They’ll be drunk on the power they have over you, and it will be very clear there’s nothing you can do about it.  Oh, it’s not coming folks.  It’s already here! 

Yeah, I sit on pins and needles these days, wondering and waiting to see how this all goes down, because when the matrix cracks and reality starts flooding in, life on this earth will not be worth living.  The dreams you had for retirement and for your kid’s future are GONE.  They are already dead; you just haven’t fully woken up enough to comprehend it yet.   

So go ahead, stick your head back up your rear end and enjoy living in your fantasy world while you can.  Make sure you keep up with that brain dead whore, Kim Kardashian, as you anxiously wonder if Kanye will ask her to marry him.  Keep on watching to see who wins America’s Got Talent.   

Keep getting all your news from the Marxist media who feeds you only what they want you to know, to keep you calm and compliant.  Go ahead and get caught up in this sham of a Presidential race.   

The days we are living in are definitely full of uncertainty and fear.  I have to fight like nuts to keep my eyes on Jesus and not on the maelstrom howling around me.  It’s very easy to be afraid of what the next month or two will bring.   

Will Israel attack Iran?  How would the surrounding unbalanced, delusional Islamic nations respond?  Is Obama planning a false flag event that will give him an excuse to declare martial law, and close the elections?  If martial law is declared, will ATM’s or credit cards work?  Will food stamp EBT cards work?  If not, will that trigger massive rioting in the streets of our cities by enraged people who’ve grown dependant on big government to support them? Will those riots and violence bleed into the suburbs?  What is going to happen??

 

Christians, these are the days that will prove what our faith is made of. This is the time we must trust and rely on the Word of Jesus Himself to give us the courage and peace to face what is surely coming.  Without faith, it is impossible to please God, but how in the world are we supposed to have faith when absolutely everything around us is falling apart?  When our families and way of life are threatened?  

By spending enough time in your private prayer ‘closet’, calling out to your heavenly Father for help and support. By keeping your nose in the Word of God and clinging for dear life to the promises He made to His bride concerning these times. Take a look: 

Matthew 24: 36-44 (Our Savior’s own words) “But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.  But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.  For as in the days that were before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” 

Even though the people living around Noah had 120 years worth of warnings regarding the doom that was to come upon the whole earth, they went about their business and basically ignored him, never comprehending the danger they were in.  They grew deaf to his warnings. 

People alive today have had over 2000 years worth of warnings from the Bible regarding what would happen in the last days, right before Jesus would snatch His bride home and pour out His wrath on this wicked world.  This very situation was spoken of by the Apostle Peter.  Most aren’t listening now either.  

2 Peter 3: 3-4 “Knowing this first, that in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, and saying, ‘Where is the promise of His coming?  For since the Fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.’”  

Those in Noah’s day didn’t take his warnings seriously for 120 years.  How much less are the people of our day taking seriously the warnings we Christians and the Bible give for the wrath that is about to fall on this earth?  They scoff.  They deny God even exists and vehemently want nothing to do with Him!  They are caught up in their wonderful little lives, enjoying the sin du jour, living how they please regardless of what anyone else thinks. 

Folks, we are living on the very edge of the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ecstatic event those who belong to Him have longed for since we first surrendered our lives and felt the touch of His spirit!  Nothing on this earth holds any interest for us anymore. There is nothing we could be offered that would make us want to stay. We are about to depart for our heavenly home, to permanently lay down every burden, fear, concern and need for all eternity.   

The evil in this world is growing stronger, more violent and cruel every day.  We can feel it and it makes us recoil in disgust.  Even those who are unsaved sense it and feel uneasy. They should be scared!  

When we bigoted, small minded, homophobic, judgmental, straight laced, Bible thumping, hypocritical, ignorant, fairy tale believing, Christians suddenly disappear, all hell is going to be unleashed upon the citizens of this earth!  The Holy Spirit who lives within us is the only thing keeping the lid on the cauldron of rage and evil that is boiling over, heated by the hatred and flames of hell.   

People who don’t know the Lord are running out of time.  I shudder to think of those left behind to face the jack-booted thugs, gleeful about the authority they’ll be given over the populace, and who’ll be free to steal and rape and kill to their dark heart’s content. 

I am sickened by the thought of all those hundreds of thousands of Americans who will be hustled out of their homes, taken to some FEMA camp which is already staffed and waiting to receive them; separated from their spouses and children and at the mercy of demonically influenced goons whose greatest pleasure will be to torture and exterminate those in their charge.   

I fear for the ones who turn to Christ after we are gone, only to be persecuted to a degree no group has ever endured before.  Unable to buy or sell—unable to get food for their families—hunted like wild animals by those whose hearts are stone cold, who won’t hesitate to slaughter small children in front of their parents, just to see the suffering in their helpless eyes.   

Think it can’t happen?  Yeah, that’s what the Jews and Germans thought too. It CAN and it WILL happen here in the ‘land of the free and the home of the brave.’   

So what are you going to do to prepare?  How does one go about preparing for the end of civilization as we know it?  Store up food and water?  How long will that last?  Buy some guns for protection?  So you can be the target of soldiers, kicking your door in during the night and tearing your home to shreds, searching for the firearms they know you have?  What’s the point? 

Oh, you think you’ll flee this country, huh?  And go where?  If you’re lucky enough to be allowed to use your passport, there’s nowhere to run!  It’s coming to Canada too. And the Caribbean.  And Europe. And Australia.  Don’t even think of trying South America or Africa!  So what’s left?  Russia?  The Middle East?  Home sweet home.   

There will be no place that is safe from the cameras and spying eyes that’ll turn you in to authorities in a heartbeat.  And this holocaust won’t have heroes to hide you or sneak you food. There will be no love for your neighbor left.  Forget that! 

You have two choices.  You can choose to stay here once Christians are taken off this vile, wretched planet, or you can be spared the horrors to come by accepting Christ into your life.  Break down and admit to Him you’re a sinner, who cannot save yourself; who can never be a good enough person to gain favor with God.  Then confess that Jesus is God’s Son who died to take the punishment for your sins and rose from the grave to give you eternal life in His kingdom.   

Gee.  Hmmm.  Let me think about it for a minute.  Forgiveness and eternal life in the kingdom of God versus pain, suffering, fear, hunger, hiding, thirst, threats, torture, rape, exhaustion…and so on. Seems like a pretty clear choice to me!  Duh… 

Anyone stubborn and foolish enough to ignore the warnings that have been given for 2000 years deserves to stay here and tough it out. Have at it.  Live life on your own terms for the little bit of time you have left, but be prepared to suffer the consequences of your own stupidity. Or, you can fall upon the mercy of Almighty God and be saved.

Gee, Ya Think?

God has an extremely ironic sense of humor.  Get to know Him well enough and you’ll see what I mean.  Take for instance, Hurricane Isaac hitting New Orleans on the 7^th anniversary that Hurricane Katrina hit.  To the day. THAT, my friends, is a perfect example of God’s irony.  I can just hear someone say, “What kind of ‘god’ causes this?”   

I’ll tell you what kind of ‘God,’ but first, I’m going to tell you what kind of city New Orleans is.  To put it bluntly, it’s extremely wicked!  It was founded in 1718 by Frenchman Jean Baptiste Le Moyne as a port to receive goods into the Americas.  From the very first years France ruled Louisiana, slaves worked in New Orleans and the surrounding plantations. 

Between 1719 and 1731, a large number of slaves were imported directly from Africa, having been abducted in Senegal.  These, along with a sizable population of natives from Haiti who immigrated after a revolt in that country, plus the French and Spanish who lived and ruled the territory, all began to breed producing children named Creoles.   

The ancestral religions of all these cultures were combined resulting in a new, demonically influenced belief called voodoo. By the time the United States bought Louisiana from Napoleon in 1803, the slave trade was well established and thriving.  

So, New Orleans was founded and built on the grievous sin of slavery which introduced voodoo, still practiced to this day. There are numerous voodoo shops in New Orleans offering classes that teach how to manipulate people and situations using this branch of black magic.  Contrary to popular belief, this stuff is powerful and very real.   Then there’s the customary debauchery of alcohol, drugs and prostitution that’s winked at and mostly ignored by the authorities.  

Believe it or not, Catholics instituted the annual carnival of Mardi Gras back in the early 1800’s!   It’s a 2 week long party meant to precede the season of Lent, ending on “Fat Tuesday,” the day before Ash Wednesday, which kicks off a 40 day observance of prayer and repentance.  And believe me, there needs to be some major repenting going on after Mardi Gras! 

Of course, we can’t forget our little sodomite friends!  In 1972, the celebration of Southern Decadence began and bills itself as, “one of the largest annual celebrations and festivals in New Orleans and has become known as the Gay Mardi Gras.”  Celebrants arrive the Wednesday before Labor Day and usually don’t return home until the next Tuesday; almost an entire week of open homosexuality, displayed before God and all of creation. 

With over 120,000 gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender participants, and an economic boost of approximately $125 million, the city decided to recognize the importance of the event with an official proclamation to welcome the participants. Well there you go.  

Katrina did little to dampen the spirits of the celebration.  Less than a week after that storm hit, with thousands of fellow citizens suffering from homelessness and hunger, a group of sodomites marched their proud, little hearts out on Bourbon Street in the ‘Big Easy’, defying the weather, and then moved their party to Lafayette, LA to finish that season. 

Hmmm.  Guess we didn’t learn our lesson, did we?  New Orleans STILL traffics in sex slaves who are part of the underground economy. Voodoo is STILL a rampant practice, with many shops selling charms and other materials for curses or love potions. Illicit drugs are all but openly sold on the streets.  Prostitution is pretty much ignored, especially during Mardi Gras, the raunchiest party in the entire country.  And the homosexuals continue to flaunt their sequined masks and leather riding crops during their week-long celebration. 

 John McTernan, Pastor and creator of the website, Defend and Proclaim the Faith stated, “Katrina was the greatest natural disaster ever to hit America.  Now seven years later, to the day, another hurricane is headed to this city.  The fact that the events are seven years apart is very significant as this number is Biblically important.  It is the number of completion:  God created the universe in seven days.  The church, city and nation have not repented and the homosexual agenda is far worse than it was in 2005.” 

He continued, “New Orleans is still hosting Southern Decadence with open homosexuality manifesting in the streets of the city. (Ewww!)  It could be that God is putting an end to this city and its wickedness.  The timing of Isaac with Southern Decadence is a sign that God’s patience with America’s sin is coming to an end.” 

This ‘coincidence’ is not lost on the residents of the area.  “A hurricane hitting a celebration of decadence…twice in 7 years.  What are the odds?” asks Robin Cox, a lifelong resident of the Gulf Coast.  

“Does it seem God has it in for New Orleans?” adds Mary Starkey.  “Just contemplating why this has happened twice in 7 years at the exact time of year.”  Well, Mary…DUH!  Gee, ya think? 

Dwight Douville, Senior Pastor at Calvary Chapel Appleton, Wisconsin, says the anniversary is reminiscent of a disaster cycle proffered by author Jonathan Cain in the bestselling book, The Harbinger, suggesting America is now under the focused judgment of God.  Pastor Douville is right on the money. 

To ignore the ‘coincidence’ of the two hurricanes with respect to that sodomite festival or worse, to deny and discount the significance of the destruction visited on this incredibly violent, wicked city is nothing less than a stroll down the main street of Stupidville.  God is obviously fed up with America and has given her many chances to turn back to Him.  Now, she will reap what she has sown in God’s garden.  Ever increasing wrath. 

So, back to the original question…”What kind of god causes this?”  I’ll tell you what kind of God.  A God of love.  One who sent just about the biggest warning/attention getter He could; Katrina.  Apparently no one got the hint. (HELLO?!)  ‘What kind of God?  A God who has demonstrated amazing restraint in the face of behavior He considers abominable. 

A God of fairness.  One who is perfect and just and good.  A God whose patience has run out.  And like any loving, responsible Father with an incorrigible, spoiled, arrogant child, He is gearing up to give America one whopper of a spanking!  And he’s just warming up.

 

God's Mercy

Well, well, well, what a mess we find ourselves in.  We all know the dismal free-fall America has taken since our communist-in-chief took office, but the damage that’s been foisted upon our Constitution and Bill of Rights is just the start of the troubles.  

Let’s just cut the manure and get down to it.  The world as we’ve always known it is about to undergo a drastic change.  Everyone I encounter seems to have an impending sense of doom in their gut, but they can’t quite figure out why. Maybe the innate reflex God instilled in every person to survive another day is wiggling around in our spirits.  

I could start listing out all of the signs of the last days we are living in that are occurring around the world, but heaven knows we have enough going on here in America that should cause even the most hardened of us to stagger in fear.  The economy for instance; I’m grateful my Dad isn’t alive to see gas prices.  He would be stunned and shake his head in wonder.  And when is the last time anyone under 80 years old saw unemployment this high?  OK, besides the Great Depression. 

This covers a wide spectrum of white collar and blue collar positions as well as menial jobs providing a service of some type. The over whelming majority of these people aren’t lazy, sitting around watching Jerry Springer all day and taking gulps of free nourishment off the government teat.  These are upright, proud folks who would almost rather go hungry than ask for a handout. They just want a decent job! 

Many have given up looking.  If they’re fortunate enough to find a job in a fast food joint, the pay cannot begin to cover their expenses.  Now, that kind of situation is OK for a couple of months to get by until they find a position in their field that suits their education and experience, but the better paying jobs simply aren’t there.  It’s not even a matter of competing for an opening anymore because you can’t compete for something that doesn’t exist! 

The domino effect of this downturn seems to stretch for miles.  People are struggling with a sense of depression and hopelessness, as well as anger and plain ‘ol fear of the future.  How will they feed their families?  Close to 47 million Americans are currently on government aid and/or food stamps.   

Food banks, churches and other charities are running out of foodstuffs to give out to those in need.  The people who usually contribute now find themselves on the other side of the desk, asking for help while they struggle with a sense of shame and failure. This kind of stress in a normal household, much less a dysfunctional home, usually leads to fussing and fighting, sometimes ending in violence.  

Of course, the fallout from the massive drought our country is currently experiencing hasn’t hit the supermarket shelves just yet, but higher prices for most everything are soon coming and will make life that much more miserable. 

I was thinking about all of this the other day, as well as the phenomenal increase in violent crime and the sewage level morality the U.S. has embraced in the last 50 years.  It is obvious to anyone with any spiritual discernment whatsoever, that Almighty God has removed His hand of protection and blessing from this country.  Can you blame Him? 

He’s been rudely booted out of our government schools, courthouses and lives.  For 187 years, God’s name was revered or at least respected in American society.  But in the 1960’s, one particularly abrasive, arrogant, loud mouthed, wide-load of a demonically controlled woman by the name of Madelyn Murray O’Hare, won her disastrous case with the Supreme Court of this land and triggered the slow decline of American culture and values. 

Goodnews Christian Ministry describes this ghastly event this way: “In June 1963, the Supreme Court upheld the argument of the atheist, Madelyn Murray O’Hare and promulgated an edict with ramifications so widespread, it insured that God would be evicted from public society across the entire spectrum of American governmental system. From that day to this, not only has prayer been outlawed, God’s very name has been declared anathema to the United States Constitution, and forbidden to be mentioned in any federal, state, county, city or municipal context.” 

“Further decrees have revealed the depths of the ouster that initial edict has fostered.  Not just prayer is forbidden in the public forum.  Display of the cross is forbidden.  The Ten Commandments are forbidden. The Bible is forbidden. Nativities are forbidden.  Even the mere mention of the names, ‘God’ or ‘Jesus’ in schools are forbidden. More than that, anything even suggestive of those names is forbidden.”   

Unless you extol the name of Allah.  Or Buddha.  Or Lucifer.  THAT’s OK.  We’re tolerant and don’t want to exclude or offend anyone, unless you’re a Christian, of course! 

For all intents and purposes, the Supreme Court of the United States of America ruled the U.S. Constitution to be a Godless document. Even though it was designed around the Ten Commandments and even invokes God’s name, they decided it was a Godless document based on the opinion of a rotund, Godless, angry woman whose entire life was a perpetual bad hair day. 

Ms. O’Hare went on to found American Atheists and made a complete nuisance of herself until she, her son Jon, and granddaughter Robin, were kidnapped by American Atheists former office manager, David Waters in 1995.  He later confessed to murdering all three individuals, and led police to their graves where their dismembered, severely decomposed bodies were found. Hmm.  Whatcha wanna bet Ms. O’Hare believes in God now… 

Ever since the day the Supreme Court ruled in favor of removing any reference of God from government institutions, our country has been circling the drain morally and politically, while the natural world God made has slowly grown increasingly violent, as if expressing outrage at mankind for shunning the Creator.   

Just 5 months after this foolish ruling, JFK was assassinated in Texas.  Acting President Lyndon Johnson involved America in the Vietnam War, which lasted 10 years and accomplished absolutely nothing but waste billions in taxpayer dollars, while maiming or killing over 200,000 American sons, husbands and fathers.  Good job there, LBJ.  

In 1964, the U.S. suffered the worst earthquake ever recorded in this country—a 9.2 on the Richter scale in Alaska, triggering a tsunami that wiped out towns across the coast of Alaska, and devastated the coastline all the way to the port of Los Angeles, California.  

Since it’s been about 50 years since Ms. O’Hare’s incomprehensively selfish demand triggered the beginning of the end of America, let’s compare some natural disasters that occurred 50 years before the Court’s decision, which would take us back to 1913. Will we see any difference in the number of tornadoes, hurricanes or even volcanic activity between 1913-1962 and 1963-2012?  

These statistics aren’t worldwide; these pertain only to the U.S.  Get a load of this! 

From 1913-1962, there were 83 outbreaks of tornado activity.  That comes to 1.66 tornado outbreaks/year. However, from 1963-2012, there were 192 outbreaks of tornados; approximately 3.84 outbreaks/year.  Wow, that’s quite a temper tantrum nature has thrown since we booted God out. 

What about hurricanes?  From 1913-1962, America was hit by 4 hurricanes.  Four. BUT…between 1963-2012, we’ve been slammed by 16 hurricanes, including the most destructive in and of itself, Hurricane Andrew, which struck South Florida and Louisiana in 1992 as a category 5 storm.  Katrina, which hit Louisiana in 2005, was a category 3, but was the cause of enormous damage due to the inadequate maintenance of the levee system protecting New Orleans.  

Anybody up for reviewing volcanic activity?  OK, from 1913-1962, there were 8 eruptions in Alaska and 2 in California, for a total of 10 in the U.S.A.  Yes, I said California.  BUT, from 1963-2012 there have been 28 eruptions in Alaska, 2 in Hawaii, 1 in Oregon and 1 in Washington, for a total of 32.  I don’t think creation has been very happy with us since the Supreme Court decision to cut God out of American government. What do you think? 

I won’t belabor the sad state of the family unit here except to say there are FAR too many single mothers, drug/alcohol addicted parents, and foster children who are abused and bounced from house to house. Not to mention the seemingly bazillion abortions carried out here, 98% of which are performed in the name of convenience.  

Now, we get to add all kinds of charming ‘new’ configurations of families, consisting of whatever hodgepodge of persons living under the same roof until a better, more advantageous sexual partner catches the resident’s eye.  Mix in sodomites, sprinkle a dose of adopted children and we’re off dancing pointy toe jigs in a fairyland of twisted, reprobate ecstasy!   

The duplicity and corruption of our governmental officials, not only in Washington, but on the State and even local levels, is breathtaking. Actually, watching the national news these days is akin to viewing a poorly written Saturday Night Live skit that just won’t end. It’s gotten so out of control it’s now funny; a tragic comedy portraying self absorbed sin, lies, money, power and sex.   

Shame on you who swore to uphold and defend our Constitution! Shame and derision on you who have betrayed the trust of the citizens who employ you to represent their interests.  Shame on your lying, selfish, utterly corrupt ways.  Woe to you who have sold out to and are aiding and abetting the Globalists to realize their long term goals.  You will most assuredly reap what you have sown! 

And may the full wrath of Almighty God descend upon all the grotesquely twisted souls who are the satanically manipulated marionettes of the self described Global elites.  You are duped by sheer stupidity into believing the pretty lies of the enemy, that you will achieve your New World Order by destroying millions of men, women and children you view as unworthy eaters of the wealth you feel belongs to you. A special circle of hell is currently being constructed for your arrival, and the entirety of your vast wealth won’t be enough to alleviate your suffering.  Not for a split second.  

While these things are horrible to contemplate and weigh us down as we wrestle daily with confusion and uncertainty for the future, do we ever, even for an instant, consider the effect our sin and rebellion wreaks on the heart of God?  I sure don’t hear much about that aspect of this whole mess.  

This has been God’s experience with mankind from the beginning.  I cannot imagine how weary HE is of looking at the sewer we’ve made of His lovely earth and how mankind can’t seem to get enough of violence, self and death.  How it must hurt him to see us in such pain; pain that we inflicted on ourselves by our selfish rebellion.  None of us can adequately imagine what the perfection of Eden was like; to be completely innocent, enjoying a perfect, playful love relationship with our Father.  

The Bible tells us repeatedly that God is patient, not willing that any should perish.  But he is not perpetually patient like some wimpy, overly permissive parent who never follows through with threatened discipline.  His righteous judgment on the sins of America is about to fully bloom. 

Zephaniah 1: 14-18 sums things up well.  “The great day of the Lord is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of the day of the Lord: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly.  That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, a day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers.  And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the Lord: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung.  Neither their silver nor their gold shall be able to deliver them in the day of the Lord’s wrath; but the whole land shall be devoured by the fire of his jealousy: for he shall make even a speedy riddance of all them that dwell in the land.” 

Nahum 1:2-3 “God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on this adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.  The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.” 

Nahum 1: 6-8 “Who can stand before his indignation? And who can abide in the fierceness of his anger?  His fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him.  The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.  But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies.” 

Our Creator gets no thrill in destroying people or property, but because being perfectly just is part of His Holy character, punishing unrepentant sin comes with the territory.  If He failed to do so, He would not be perfectly just.  Another facet of His character is unfathomable mercy. 

A few days ago, I was reading the news online, and found myself getting weighed down and overwhelmed by a sense of hopelessness and sorrow.  How could this county have turned her back so completely against the very One who established her?  Study American history and be astonished at the impossible odds against the U.S. ever breaking free from British rule.  The fact that we even exist is an utter miracle of God.  

Then, because we founded our Constitution and Bill of Rights upon Judeo-Christian, Biblical values, God blessed America until she was the most powerful, wealthy, innovative, healthy beacon of hope for the rest of the world’s population. Then came Madelyn.  Whoo!  Is it hot there, Madelyn?  Mmm, I bet it is! 

As I was contemplating the decline of this country, something incredible flashed in my mind.  It was a spark of knowledge from God Himself that imprinted on my heart in a microsecond; something so profound and powerful it immediately caused me to break down in sobs. I was given a small taste of God’s hurt and disappointment in America and the enormity of mercy He has patiently shown us in the face of incorrigible, flagrant rebellion and arrogance. 

That glimpse of His unspeakable mercy crushed me.  I wept for the pain His Fatherly heart has endured in the face of His overflowing blessings to this country, as well as a sense of speechless gratitude for the patience and mercy He has shown to me personally with regard to my own sin.  How completely unworthy of His love, and yet how completely I am covered by it. 

It brings tears to my eyes just writing about it.  The pain we have caused God is worse than I can describe, yet He has been reluctant to exact justice on this nation.  His patience has now run out and America will most assuredly suffer the full and well deserved brunt of His wrath.  What fools inhabit this country!  The U.S. is finished and will never return to what she once was.  

The ONLY hope we have to escape the grinding punishment that’s coming our way is for us to individually fall on our knees in repentance and turn our lives over to the One who made us and knows us best.  His children are not destined for His wrath.  He does not punish the righteous with the wicked, but always makes a way of escape and shelter before the destruction falls.  

So where are you in this?  Does your heart ache for the pain you’ve caused your heavenly Father?  Are you ready to surrender your life and future to Him or would you rather take your chances on the upcoming, useless election; one that’s already been decided but is allowed to played out to satisfy the ignorant masses, by the demonic puppet masters running the show?  

Time is running out. Please open your eyes to what is happening in this country. It will NOT improve long term, I guarantee it.  The only Savior we can count on is Christ Jesus.
