Are You Marked?

I’m really going to wade in deep here.  What I’m about to say is going to anger quite a few people, and that’s OK.  There are times when the truth has to be dragged out into the light of day, no matter how distasteful and ugly it is.  The grievous fact is this: America is finished because of her choice to re-elect Barack Hussein Obama to another term as President.   

‘Oh no!  How could you say such a thing?  This is the greatest country the world has ever known, and we will survive the next four years of an Obama presidency.  Until the next election in 2016, we must concentrate on finding the right candidate that will return America to economic prosperity, as well as manufacturing, scientific, technological and military strength.  No, we can’t give up now, or ever!’   Right.  Hold onto that dream, pal. 

Because of ongoing national sin, we found ourselves in a position where we didn’t have much of a choice. Our only alternative was Mitt Romney, a multi-generational, high-priest of the satanic cult, Mormonism, a pseudo-religion which blasphemes Christ while falsely claiming to be Christian.  At least he had the appearance of being a somewhat moral family man, but in truth, was another Globalist puppet that would have finished the destruction of America, as his handlers directed him. 

But the people have spoken and decided, even after four years of abject failure, to re-elect Mr. Obama to a second term.  An overtly wicked man who is an enthusiastic supporter of abortion in all its horrific forms, and at all stages of pregnancy, including partial-birth abortion; the deliberate slaughter of a healthy, viable, full-term baby as it’s being born.

He even unwaveringly agrees with the obscene practice of allowing babies, who miraculously survive an abortion attempt, to be left alone in a room to die, cold, hungry and in pain, when medical intervention might very well save their lives. What kind of callous, sociopathic soul would someone have to possess, to find this acceptable?  I wonder why his promiscuous mother didn’t avail herself of this service. 

Strongly rumored to be a closet homosexual himself, he fully supports same-sex marriage, giving sodomites the legal right to adopt children, while repealing The Defense of Marriage Act, which confirms the obvious intention of nature and God, by defining marriage as involving one man and one woman.   

Obamacare will go into effect January 1, 2013, and will include the largest, broadest tax hike on the middle class in American history.  Already, the internet is a buzz with stories of small business laying off workers or shutting their doors, because of the impossible financial burden this magical beacon of healthcare hope, which no one wanted, will impose.  

Can’t wait to see the unemployment figures by the end of the first quarter!  One question…if this is such a brilliant idea, why is Congress and the President exempt from this healthcare plan?  Why is the Federal government in the process of hiring thousands of new IRS agents to make sure the rest of us are paying our premiums? Just curious.  I guess what’s good for the goose really isn’t good enough for the ruling elite. 

Oh, I could go on and on with the gloom and doom that really IS going to descend on America very shortly.  So, how do we fix this, and how can we get this country back to being the strongest, most prosperous nation on earth?  You really want to know the answer?  Are you sure…? 

We can’t.  

Listen folks, when the horse is dead, dismount. This country is now dead, never to rise again.  She just hasn’t completely fallen down quite yet.  That is a mighty difficult concept to come to grips with, isn’t it?  I sure understand, but we need to face facts here and the fact is, we can’t pray our way out of this.   

‘But,  2 Chronicles 7:14 says, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”  All we need to do is get the church to repent and America can be restored!’   Nope. Sorry.  Ain’t gonna happen, even if pigs fly.  

Oh, come on! Wake up! Think logically here.  Do you REALLY believe there’s anyone in this country capable of bringing every saved Catholic and Protestant together, and have them agree to petition God with fasting and prayer, to save this country?  HAHAHA!!  You’re joking right?  The mainstream, modern day church can’t even agree on where to eat Sunday lunch!  Get a grip on reality and quit living in denial.  America is dead.  

 

To continue on insisting that the church needs to somehow contrive some national revival to ask forgiveness for the sins of America, is a colossal waste of time.  Why won’t that work?  Because the majority of Americans voted AGAIN, to continue on the path of entitlements and rebellion against the precepts of Almighty God.   

America received a HUGE, heavenly, wake-up call on 9/11.  We stumbled about, reeling from the shock and brutality of the attack, and for the first few weeks, churches were filled with people who were humbling themselves before God, seeking to understand ‘why.’  Well, that certainly lasted, didn’t it?   

As is so starkly and poignantly outlined in Rabbi Jonathan Cahn’s book, The Harbinger, our gracious and merciful God continued to send warning after warning in the subsequent eleven years, yet we didn’t listen and turn our faces back to Him.  Well, like any compassionate, loving but just parent, His patience finally ran out on November 6, 2012, when the majority voted to allow the most Christian-hating, Islam loving, morality starved President ever to darken the doors of the White House, to reign over us another four years.  Brilliant choice!   

In this week’s feature article on Jack Kelley’s website, Gracethrufaith.com, he explains why Christians need to put this idea of repenting for America to rest.  Look at Ezekiel 14: 12-14, which states, “Son of man, if a country sins against me by being unfaithful and I stretch out my hand against it to cut off its food supply and send famine upon it and kill its men and their animals, even if these three men—Noah, Daniel and Job—were in it, they could save only themselves by their righteousness, declares the Sovereign Lord.” 

“If any country persists in going against the will of God and doing things He has forbidden, and He determines to judge that country, the believers in it, no matter how righteous they may be, can only save themselves.  In Ezekiel 14:15-20, He repeatedly said that even if their own sons and daughters would be affected by the judgment, the prayers of these righteous men could not save them.  They could save only themselves by their righteousness.” 

 ‘But what about the story of Jonah and Nineveh?  Jonah warned them about the impending judgment of God and they repented and God did not destroy them.’  Read the story closely in Jonah 3: 4-10.  The Bible clearly states that every, single person in Nineveh, from the lowliest servant to the very King himself, repented by putting on sackcloth and ashes, with every one turning from his evil ways and from violence.  Every, single person!  Again, do you honestly believe we could persuade every, single person in America to fall on their knees, confess their sins and beg God for mercy?  Do I even need to answer that question? 

This is why praying for the restoration of America is now a moot point.  By re-electing Obama, with all his wicked ways and plans for the destruction of our society, this country has given Almighty God the finger for the last time!  No more chances.   

BUT… this life and this earth is not all there is, and I think we all tend to forget that.  The Bible tells us that ALL of earth’s history, as well as the entire plan for mankind from start to finish, was designed and prepared before the foundations of the world were laid.  God knew Adam and Eve would rebel, so the perfect plan of the cross and redemption was arranged with Jesus before time began. 

God knew we would destroy this earth in our greed and stupidity; therefore the plans for a new heaven and a new earth were made.  He’s always known who would come to Him and who would reject His offer for an eternity in His kingdom.  And He always knew this strong, fantastic country called America, would eventually go the way of all previous democracies and consume itself from within.  ALL of this has been in the works for untold years and every single detail is falling into place as designed.  Right this minute, the Lord sits in heaven on His throne, in perfect peace and control.  

WE are the ones who are having a hard time with it!  This earthly life and these mortal bodies are all we’ve ever known and they are being threatened with death and destruction.  Who wouldn’t be upset or clawing around for some kind of hope!  So, what is our hope?  

Those of us who’ve accepted Christ as Lord and Savior are marked with God’s seal of ownership.  That is our hope! 

All through the Bible, when God placed a mark on someone, it meant that person belonged to Him and was protected from danger.  As with anything good that God does, satan has to go pervert it, probably because he has absolutely no imagination whatsoever.  So, during the tribulation there will be a mark that denotes who belongs to him, commonly known as the mark of the beast.   

As Kelley points out, “The principle of making those who would be protected from judgment was first mentioned in Genesis 4:15, when the Lord marked Cain as a warning to those who might try to kill him for murdering Abel.”   

Probably the most famous incident of the Lord marking His own to protect them from wrath and death is detailed in Exodus, with the story of the Passover. 

Right before God delivered Israel from 400 years of Egyptian slavery, He visited one last plague on all the land.  Exodus 12:12 says, “For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.” 

God instructed Moses and Aaron to tell the Israelites to kill a Passover lamb; one without spot or blemish, and paint its blood on the two side posts and on the upper door post of their houses.  The purpose of this was to mark that household exempt by God from death.  Exodus 12:13, “And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.” 

God continued this practice in the New Testament also.  Ephesians 1:13-14 says, “And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possession---to the praise of his glory.” 

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 also says, “Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ.  He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.”   

Kelley explains, “In these two passages Paul revealed that all born again believers were marked at the time they believed, to show that they belong to the Lord.  It’s the spiritual equivalent of a rancher branding his cattle with his mark of ownership. The presence of this mark will protect us like it has protected others He has marked throughout history.” 

“But in our case, the mark doesn’t just protect us from the judgment taking place around us, it qualifies us to be removed from the judgment altogether.  This mark can only be received on an individual or personal basis.  What I mean is we’re not marked because we’re part of the Church, we’re part of the Church because we’re marked.” 

This is where so many people get into trouble.  They think that because they are ‘good people,’ going to church every Sunday, being generous with their money, or spending time in community service, that they truly belong to Christ when in reality, they’ve never given their hearts and lives over to Him so He can claim ownership.   

These are exciting times we’re living in; exciting for those of us who have disengaged from the things of this earth, and have ceased putting our faith for the future in politicians, governments, the economy, or our bank accounts. Those of us who are marked by God with the blood of His Son, now spend our days attending to the responsibilities of this life, while keeping an ear open for that wonderful shout from our King, “Come up here!”  

 A most touching detail in the story of the Passover, pertains to we who belong to Christ today.  One of the specific instructions God gave Moses, was that the Passover lamb each family killed was to be eaten quickly, as if the people of Israel were eating on the run.  Exodus 12:11 says, “And thus shall ye eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and ye shall eat it in haste: It is the Lord’s Passover.” 

We have been marked by the Holy Spirit as belonging to Him and there’s a remnant of us who are watching the signs, and breathlessly waiting to be snatched home.  We live every day with our spiritual loins girded, shoes on our feet and our staff in our hand, because we know the Lord is poised to deliver us from this miserable world we inhabit, along with our slavery to sin.     

Despite the ever darkening future of America and the world, we refuse to fear because of our Blessed Hope.  These are the days when we must keep our eyes on Christ, allowing His Holy Spirit to calm and cheer us while we patiently wait.  ALL previous prophecies in the Bible have come to pass, exactly as predicted. God is not a man that He should lie.  He ALWAYS keeps His promises, and WILL rescue us from the wrath to come.   

Do you bear the mark of God’s ownership?  Have you been stained by the precious blood of Jesus?  You are running out of time, my friends.  The prophecies of end time events are unfolding at an exponential rate, proving we are at the very end of the Age of Grace.  

You have a stark choice here.  You can either accept Jesus into your heart as Lord and Savior, allowing God to mark you as belonging to Him, or you can be left behind to face the decision whether or not to take satan’s mark of the beast.  Refusing to take that mark will lead to a very unpleasant death. 

One mark leads straight to an eternity of joy in heaven.  The other leads straight to an eternity of lonely agony in the Lake of Fire.  You still have time to escape the things to come.  Please choose wisely!

 

It's Not Easy Being Green

Well, the Presidential election is over, thank heavens.  Now, we know what we’re dealing with and pretty much what to expect for the next four years.  Strange thing though; when I got up this morning, my skin had a greenish cast to it.  Head to toe, as I looked in the mirror, I could not believe my spiritual eyes!  I’m as green as can be! 

Notice I said my ‘spiritual eyes.’  Of course, I’m not actually green.  If I were, I wouldn’t be sitting here writing, I’d be on my way to the emergency room!  No, I see a BIG change that occurred last night when Bronco Bama was reinstated as king.   

Here’s a question: What color do most people associate with aliens?  Think about it.  They are always referred to as, “little green men from Mars,” right?  That is precisely what we are now.  More than ever, we are aliens, living in a world in which we do NOT belong! The differences between our way of thinking and our character as Christians are going to become very stark in the days and weeks ahead.  

I am as disappointed as anyone else who had hoped that Romney might, at least, slow down the demise of this country just a little bit.  He was not our savior, but it might have been nice to be lied to by a different face, if nothing else.  Make no mistake here; The United States of America officially died last night.  Born: July 4, 1776 --- Died:  November 6, 2012.   

The America our founding fathers lived and died to institute is now going the way of the dinosaurs; a thing of interest in the history books, unless they’re completely re-written as progressives are wont to do.  In the next four years, and you can write this down, we will see our dollar collapse, our liberties continue to vanish, a communist police state emerge in all its charming glory and a move to abolish American sovereignty in favor of a New World Order. 

And this is precisely what is supposed to happen.  We Christians are going to start REALLY feeling persecuted and hated now.  We’ve never fit in, even from the days of the early church, but, boy oh boy, it’s really gonna hit the fan now. Why should we expect anything else?  We are the ones who are aliens.  We do not belong to this world anymore.  

In the early days of this republic, the ones who were ostracized were the ones who refused to attend church or who got smashing drunk at the bar.  The woman with the scarlet letter “A” applied to the front of her gown, denoting she had indulged in adultery, was a major scandal.  Thieves or blasphemers or those who bucked the authority of their parents, were put in stocks in the public square to be humiliated.  And murderers were put to death. I don’t know if anyone even dared to breathe the word ‘sodomite,’ so ghastly and aberrant that sin was.  

Nope, now WE are the ghastly, green, alien aberrations walking among the living dead on this earth.  WE are the oddballs who refuse to accept homosexuality, corruption in our government officials, lying, murder and treason.  WE are the ones who expect our pastors to actually lead us in the ways of God instead of concerning themselves with image or riches.

 

WE are the ones who resoundly say “No!” to gay marriage and the demise or the traditional family unit.  WE are the weirdo’s who are angry that Islam is being accepted and taught in our public schools, yet a student would be suspended for wearing a t-shirt featuring a cross, or for praying at lunch before eating.  WE are the little green men now.  

And as much as the general public is fascinated with aliens, if you think about it, they are absolutely terrified of them.  They think it’s cool to see a UFO, but the thought of real, honest-to-goodness aliens from another world actually visiting earth freaks them out! WE freak them out too; that is, if we’re living before Christ like we’re supposed to. They are scared of us and that is why they hate us. 

1 Peter 1:13 “Therefore, preparing your minds for action and being sober-minded, set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (ESV) 

What do aliens travel in? Space ships, right?  It takes a little while to prepare and outfit a space ship, like the shuttles America used. But, once that ship was ready to go and sitting on the launch pad, the astronauts were strapped in their seats, life sustaining equipment ready and the engines were fired up with a resounding fiery rumble. 

Our Savior has been preparing and outfitting our space ship for 2000 years now. And last night, He strapped us in, handed us the life saving equipment we will need for the journey, His Word, and flicked the switch to start the engines.  That roar of our engine was literally heard the world over when the results of the election were apparent.   

Let’s continue with 1 Peter 1: 14-21.  “As obedient children, do not be conformed to the passions of your former ignorance, but as he who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, since it is written, ‘You shall be holy, for I am holy.’ And if you call on him as Father who judges impartially according to each one’s deeds, conduct yourselves with fear throughout the time of your exile, knowing that you were ransomed from the futile ways inherited from your forefathers, not with perishable things such as silver or gold, but with the precious blood of Christ, like that of a lamb without blemish or spot.  He was foreknown before the foundation of the world but was made manifest in the last times for the sake of you who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope are in God.”  (Emphasis mine) 

Folks, I completely understand why you would feel depressed and hopeless this post-election morning.  You feel like we’re all doomed and you fear for what the future might hold.  I get it, believe me!  I’m human too. But give careful consideration to this: We are literally on the launch pad, strapped in and ready to go, with engines roaring.  We are SO close to liftoff, I can hardly stand it! 

Yes, there will most likely be some bumpy roads ahead.  Yes, we’ve never traveled roads like these before, and we are going to feel fear.  Duh, we’re human.  God doesn’t expect us to not feel fear.  He expects us to trust Him, even though we’re scared, as we keep walking with and living for Jesus, one day at a time.  

These days are going to get very dark, very quickly, and the glow we aliens project is going to seem brighter and more irritating to the eyes of those who are blind and accustomed to living in darkness.  We are going to irritate the living snot out of our co-workers and neighbors and lost family members, and if we don’t, we had better double-check to see if we truly are strapped into our seat in the vehicle that’s ready to take us home!  

Chin up, people!  You have the most incredible secret mankind has ever been given since Jesus returned to heaven.  We are going home very, very soon and when the engines actually engage, they will be… silent.  Completely silent and that ship called Jesus, will whisk us off the launch pad faster than the speed of light.  And all hell will be free to break loose on this degenerate, lost, blind, reprobate, wicked world.  

Nah, let’em have Bronco Bama.  Let them suffer the consequences of their selfish choice.  Sit back and let them celebrate and stick their tongues out and dance around like a bunch of idiots as they’re handed their Obama phones.  Let them live in the horror of the soon to come police state.  They wanted it, they’re gonna get it. 

But WE aliens are going home very, very soon.  WhooHoo!!!   Our redemption draweth nigh!

 

I'm Tired

You know what?  I’m tired.  Bone weary, want-to-sit-on-a-beach-for-a-week-and-stare-at-the- ocean, kind of tired.  Tired of this Presidential election.  Tired of the talking heads yammering away about how wonderful their favorite candidate is, while disparaging the opponent. Tired of the same old bovine intestinal squeeze, oozing out of the TV screen every night.  

I’m tired of reality shows, featuring people with questionable I.Q.’s who think nothing of allowing a camera crew into their bathroom to document them as they paint their toenails and gossip about their sister’s newest sexual partner. Or programs with folks who self-importantly impart useless, non-existent strategy for buying overcrowded, abandoned storage units, filled with someone else’s old, dirty clothes and cast off, obsolete electronics, while bidding up their competition just to be a jerk.  

Like the 4 year old little girl on that YouTube video, who broke down in tears after listening to coverage of election news on the car radio one too many times, I’m also sick of hearing about “Bronco Bama and Mitt Romney.”  When her mother assured her the election was going to be over very soon, she sniffed loudly and choked out a brave, “Okay” as a final little tear ran down her chubby cheek.  

Me too, kid.  I feel your pain.  No more yard signs or bumper stickers.  Nix the TV interviews and 90 minute debates, please.  Spare me the endless commentary with the usual side of analysis paralysis.  I’m over it.  I’m just over it.  Although I pray for God’s will to be done regarding who wins the White House, and hope His will includes replacing the current, unqualified occupant, I’m stunned when I see how many people are pinning all their hopes and dreams on a new face who speaks pretty words.  

Seriously, people? You really think the challenger has the ability to return America to the lofty world status she once held?  Do you honestly believe this man, who is simply another Globalist puppet, anointed by The Powers That Be to further their agenda, really WANTS to ‘fix’ this country?  Hey, I have some beachfront property in Iowa I’d love for you to take a look at! 

Oh, how I wish I could believe the inspiring, patriotic speeches, full of promises to heal the economy, reinstate Constitutional freedoms and undo the barrage of destruction wreaked on our Republic by our treasonous, murderer-in-chief!  My eyes fill with tears when I watch this man, who appears SO Presidential, speaking with such eloquence without depending on the training wheels of a teleprompter, and I long to take him at his word, but I simply can’t.  

It’s not that I’m jaded or cynical.  Honestly.  I’m realistic, and I hate that.  I’d rather be able to bury my head in the hopeful sand of la-la land, but too much water has gone under the bridge, and too many buildings have been blown up.  Too many people have been murdered and too many bald faced lies have been told for me to believe anything coming out of the cess-pool of Washington D.C. anymore. 

I bet I’d feel an overwhelming compulsion to douse my car with Clorox if I had occasion to drive around that city.  Ideological raw sewage percolates within the halls of the Capitol Building, seeping into every computer and closed door meeting of our elected officials.  They arrange their on camera moments, standing before dozens of microphones, spitting and flinging that sewage on the American people, expecting us to happily accept being defecated on and beg them for more.  

Nah, I’ve had quite enough, thank you very much.  I’m stuffed and couldn’t hold another drop.  Like I said, I’m tired.  

Today, as I drove by a billboard advertising some high-end, expensive men’s watch, that pretty much looked and functions the same as any other timepiece, a wave of commercial weariness washed over me.  I kept driving, passing one elegant shop after another and spotted the first dreaded Christmas wreath of the season, hanging on one of the doors.  

It’s not even close to Thanksgiving, yet the retailers are beginning to gear up for their annual  cluster-fest orgy of Yule Tide cheer.  They desperately need to recoup losses incurred during the past year of tough economic times in the hopes of breaking even and, if Santa smiles on them, possibly even make a tiny profit for all their hard labor.  *sigh*  

I’m tired of hearing about the 47 million people on food stamps.  I’m tired of hearing manipulated, inaccurate unemployment statistics, as well as other economic indicators and stock market fluctuations that are full of spin, depending on who is doing the reporting.  ‘The economy is improving.’  ‘We are still in a full blown recession.’  ‘There’s hope just around the corner.’  ‘Presently, there is no sign of a recovery any time soon.’ 

I’m fed up with hearing about Islamists in the Middle East who dream of little more than murdering infidels.  I’m outraged when I think of every, single husband, wife, sister, brother, son and daughter, embroiled in an unwinnable war in foreign lands, who are supposedly trying to give the gift of democracy to people whose entire ideology runs counter to that kind of freedom.   

I’m weary of hearing about our troops who, in exchange for the sacrifice they give in blood, sweat, tears and separation from family and friends, are being shot in the back by the ignorant, illiterate cowards they’re trying to help, while American taxpayers continue shelling out more and more money towards the supposed ‘freedom’ of people who just want us to go away.  I don’t want one more American life to be sacrificed in the Middle East.  

They don’t want us there.  They didn’t ask us to ‘liberate’ them or overthrow their leaders, and they would probably leave us alone if we left their ‘holy’ lands, came home and minded our own darn business. Enough is enough, already.  I have every idea they would warm up to the ‘Great Satan’ pretty quickly if the ‘Great Satan’ was energy independent and didn’t need their precious oil anymore.   

I’m tired of our government’s deceitful backdoor, covert politics, with all the wheeling and dealing by arrogant, despotic, greedy, imperialistic so called leaders who mindlessly carry out policies mapped out generations ago by those whose sole aim was, and is, to rule the world.  Everybody wants to rule this broken down, sick, decaying world.  Well, ya’ll can have it! 

I’m tired of the mainstream media that spends its time and money pumping out asinine, outrageous, biased rhetoric rather than reporting accurate news. It’s not even a game anymore; their lies have become so obvious and outlandish that we can all see that Emperor Media has no clothes on.  

The misinformation spewed forth every day and night from the newspapers, online news sources, magazines, radio and television, serves to prove they assume their audience are complete imbeciles.  The nerve, the gall, the audacity, the strength-sapping assault leveled against the intelligence of the American public by the media, is obscene.  

They need to be boycotted for about 3 months. Maybe during that audience imposed time-out, they would be able to figure out how to tell the truth again, and perhaps even rediscover their integrity.  HAHAHAHAHA!  Nah, forget it.  That’ll never happen!   

I guess the thing that tires me the most is the apathy and self-absorption of my fellow human beings, especially here in America.  It’s everywhere I turn, but the most egregious practice of Stepford-Wife brain death, is occurring in the church.  What is WRONG with you people??  Seriously!  I don’t get it! 

NO ONE who has written me in the past year has reported that their pastor or Sunday School teacher talks about the imminence of the rapture of the church!  No one in any church body that’s been described to me is even discussing how current events line up with the signs of the end of the age, as outlined in Scripture!  No one!   

This renders me speechless.  Well, almost.  It makes me furious, actually.  Hey pastoral shepherds, where are you?  God has blessed you with the opportunity to lead and guide your flock safely into His Kingdom and what are you doing?  You’re caught up in building your congregations with seekers and tithers who can support your huge, fancy new sanctuaries, that’s what.  

SHAME ON YOU! 

When is the last time you told those in your care about sin, repentance and the cleansing blood of Jesus, shed on that Roman cross?  When is the last time you offered an invitation for the lost to come to the front of the church so one of your deacons could minister to, and lead them to the grace of salvation?  Humph.  I thought so.  

You bunch of lazy Laodiceans!  Jesus, (remember him?) said in Revelation 3: 15-17, “I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.  So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked” 

“Welcome to First Baptist Country Club Church. We’re so glad you decided to join us this morning!  Before we get started singing our annoying, meaningless choruses, let me make a few announcements.  Next Tuesday night, in the Schmoozy New Life Center across the street, a combination baby and wedding shower will be held for Tammy Sue Dingbat; everyone is invited to attend and be sure to bring a covered dish.  Next, don’t forget that we’ll be receiving a special offering in tonight’s service that will go towards installation of a big, new fountain in our lobby. In case you don’t remember, it features an empty throne, surrounded by 12 angels, each holding a disciple who spit out lukewarm water into the main pool. It’s gonna be just gorgeous, folks!  And all for the glory of God!”   

THIS is the type of thing most churches are concentrating on these days. Well PUKE!  Pastors, you have a sacred responsibility towards your congregations, and you are failing them.  Failing, as in getting an ‘F’ on your heavenly report card!  You’d better wake up from your dreamy, emergent existence and start telling your flock the truth about what is happening in the world.   

If you don’t warn them that every, single sign and prophecy concerning the rapture of the church has taken place and we are ready for takeoff, who will?  You think they’ll stop sipping their Starbucks long enough to concern themselves with this?  One of the ladies in your congregation mentioned the word, “prophecy” to another member and was asked, “What is that?  Is that like speaking in tongues?”   

Listen up! The weight and responsibility of making sure your people are well aware of the lateness of the hour is on you.  They need to understand that their hearts must be found worthy to escape the wrath to come, but how can they be ready when they don’t even know what the rapture and Tribulation is??  Right now, they think the ‘antichrist’ was some movie character named Damien!   

Now, I realize you may not have been taught these things in seminary.  That’s completely outrageous, and I would demand a full refund of my tuition if I were you because Jesus spoke of the end times frequently, and it would behoove the schools to include that in their curriculum.  However, there are many excellent resources in the Christian bookstores that can assist you and bring you up to speed on this critical subject.   

Concentrate on authors like Hal Lindsey, John Ankerberg, David Jeremiah, and others associated with them.  Wake up, you shepherds! Make sure your little flock is ready to go when that trumpet blows, and we are snatched up to meet the Lord in the air.  You’d better get busy because the way things are looking, it won’t be much longer before we go home.

Public School Religion

Now they’ve done it.  NOW THEY’VE DONE IT!  Let me tell you about a 10 year old little girl, who attends Butts Road Intermediate School, in Chesapeake, Virginia.  The Blaze, an Internet news source, didn’t release her name but that’s neither here nor there in this article. 

Her “teacher,” Tara Harris, joined the school in September as a fifth-grade learning disabilities, special education teacher.  Let me pause to take a few, cleansing breaths so my blood pressure can come back down…OK, I’ll continue.  Ms. Harris has been charged with simple assault for injuring this child’s hand while forcing the class to learn…*gasp* *shudder* Islamic hand signs.  

EXCUSE ME??  I don’t think I read that right.  You mean to tell me a teacher in a public school system in this country, was teaching Islamic hand signs?  The child’s mother, Stephanie Bennett, told The Blaze that this…this Ms. Harris has a disturbing trend of “indoctrinating” students with Islamic teachings.  She also openly campaigns for President Obama and bashes GOP nominee, Mitt Romney, according to the testimony of several of her students. 

Ms. Bennett, the mother, states, “The teacher was going over Islamic hand signs with the children—she stayed on this issue for two days straight, during their reading and math class.”  The Blaze reports, when Bennett’s daughter was unable to perform the Islamic hand sign correctly after two days of instruction, Harris became frustrated and attempted to twist the girl’s fingers to make the Islamic gesture, which means, “power and strength.”   

The mother continues, “When she didn’t get it right, [Harris] went over and yanked her hand out of her desk and my daughter’s hand got hung up on the metal wire on her file folder, and the skin got caught on it.  The other children saw my daughter’s hand dripping with blood after the teacher had gotten so mad that she went to twist my daughter’s hand into an Islamic sign.” 

She immediately filed a police report, and Ms. Harris was placed on administrative leave.  The next day, Ms. Bennett was informed by school officials that the teacher had been terminated from the Chesapeake Public School system all together.  The Blaze was unable to independently confirm this.  

The child told her mother that Harris “prays to Allah in Arabic” approximately five times a day in front of students, and teaches them about Islam and how it is superior to other religions. *inhale deeply*  

Another parent, Nita Redditt, states that her son was scared to go back to the classroom the next day. “I think he was intimidated.  I couldn’t believe what was going on in the classroom in regards to this teacher praying to Allah, and having them pray with her.”   WHAT???  Oh no, you didn’t!  Huh-uh!  I don’t think so!   

Oh…Oooo…Arggg…WHERE do I start?  This is so outrageous on so many different levels, that it’s difficult to choose where to begin.  

Here is an educated woman, who chose to work directly with learning disabled, special education children.  This would demand a person who possesses a kind, calm demeanor and extreme patience, to be successful in such a career.  This was obviously a BAD CHOICE of specialties on her part!  As the teacher, she was fully aware this little girl suffers from a processing disorder, making it difficult for her to quickly grasp ideas, like (stupid) hand signs.  

Did this matter to Ms. Harris?  Nope.  She was too caught up, selfishly defiling this kid by forcing her to perform on cue, like some animal she was attempting to train.  For her to “yank” this child’s hand out of her desk for something this insidious, clearly demonstrates how untrustworthy she is to be around any child, much less those who need extra compassionate attention.  Hey Ms. Harris—why don’t you try yanking and injuring MY kid’s hand and see what happens.  I dare you.  Grrrrrrr… 

Now to the obvious.  I bet you can guess what I’m going to say.  WHY, pray tell, has this…this…Koran thumping, bigoted, abusive, Christophobic twit been allowed to RELIGIOUSLY RAPE these children in a government school classroom??  You mean to tell me NO other teacher or member of administration was aware she was forcing her religious beliefs on these impressionable, innocent, dependent kids?  NO ONE?  You’re joking, right? 

That is absolutely inexcusable either way.  If the school was aware she was openly, aggressively proselytizing Islam, then they are guilty of violating the government’s favorite phrase, (everybody say it with me), “the separation between church and state,” now, aren’t they?  

And if this school denies any knowledge of this teacher’s activities, what the heck else are they unaware of??  Who’s to say she’s not sexually assaulting them also?  Or forcing them to memorize parts of the Koran?  Or keeping these kids silent by threatening to kill their parents or pets if they tell what she’s teaching them?  

Why isn’t this on the national news?  It would probably be the lead story if this were a Christian teacher, telling these children that Jesus loves them! Oh the horror!  Was this even featured on the local news?  I highly doubt it.  A Christian teacher doing this sort of thing would be arrested and paraded naked on Main Street at noon! 

Where are the loud-mouthed, intrusive, busybody ‘Freedom From Religion’ people?  Huh?  Why aren’t they marching on the school grounds with their stupid signs, and filing a lawsuit in court?  Why aren’t they on CNN, making a statement about how angry they are that, in this day and age, these children are being exposed to the ridiculous claims of the existence of god? 

Where is the rabid, mouth foaming, snarling attack dog against all things Christian, the ACLU?  In what Federal Court is their suit filed?  Where is their outrage on this?  If you pause for a moment, you can hear crickets in the silence. 

Can you just imagine the hysterical, hair tearing, garment rending, screaming rants of the main stream media, Hollywood ‘stars’, members of Congress and even our very favorite Muslim, President Obama, if this woman was a Christian?  I am dumbfounded by the blatant, double standard being applied here!  

 Let’s see, how does this usually go?  Oh yeah, “How DARE this woman use the tax-payer’s money and time to force her religious beliefs on these children!”   

She was hired for a specific task.  She was to teach the customary, inadequate ‘curriculum of excellence,’ regurgitated by this nation’s public school system, which spits out high school graduates who can’t read above a 3^rd grade level.  Was that really too much to ask? 

Where did she get the idea she had the right to indulge her big ‘ol, pushy self by wasting these student’s time, forcing them to learn her wicked, false religion?  Hey, no one seems too upset about this, so this must mean prayer is allowed back in the classroom!  Right.  As if.   

This ‘lady’ must worship the, “Islam: Make up the rules as you go,” sect of this filthy belief system.  I’m providing the link to this story and in the accompanying photo, featuring this disciple of dog doo.  Notice that she has a glass of red wine on the table in front of her.  Wait a minute; I thought Islam forbid drinking alcohol!

But this seems to be the new normal in America today doesn’t it?  She’s an exalted Muslim and can do anything she wants, ignore any law she wants, as long as she is spreading the teachings of Allah.  After all, we’re supposed to be tolerant.  However, if a Christian so much as opens their mouth to yawn in a public school building, there’s hell to pay.   

Think this is an isolated incident?  Au contraire.  Are you kidding?  Apparently, public schools in Minnesota close for two days each year, so the teacher’s union members can hold their annual Education Minnesota Professional Conference.  What new topical gems are they planning to pass on to the students this next school year?  Let’s look at a list. 

“Using Personal Dolls to Promote Social Emotional Intelligence and Acceptance of Diversity”  Uh-huh. Teachers learning to play with dolls.  Sounds like a critical teaching skill to me. 

“Teaching Students to be Peacemakers” Good luck with that.  

“The State of Minnesota Schools and LGBTQ Youth: A Roundtable Discussion” Umm, WHY are these people spending time discussing their student’s budding sexuality, and learning how to ensure they understand the different types of perversions that are socially acceptable today?  How about we concentrate on reading instead?   

And the capstone, my favorite… “Teaching about Islam in the Context of Social Studies and World Religion” Okaaay.  Well, actually it’s NOT okay at all!   

What does the teacher’s union say about this session? “An expert panel will present information on teaching about Islam. They will share perspectives on how educators can help improve intercultural communication and well-being for immigrant and refugee students and families from Muslim countries.”  Why don’t you teach these immigrants how to assimilate into American society instead?  Oh right, that would make sense. 

What the heck?  Is Minnesota being overrun with Muslim refugees all of a sudden?  Are the students going to be informed about who flew airplanes into our World Trade Center Towers on 9/11?  Will they be given handouts to color, depicting Islamic suicide bombers blowing up American soldiers or innocent Israeli children?  Will they receive a photograph of the Fogel family, who were butchered in their beds by Palestinian cowards?  I’m guessing not.  

 

Can someone please explain to me why our government schools are suddenly so enamored with religion and Islam in particular?  I thought we didn’t talk about religion in schools. I was under the impression that the sky would fall, and cats would spontaneously explode if anyone, anywhere in Obama’s “57 states” even mentioned the concept of there being a god! No? When did this change, ‘cause I sure missed the news coverage.  

So, can I infer from these reports, that prayer and the teaching of religion are once again allowed in school?  Oh, could it actually be true??  Wouldn’t that be wonderful? But, who am I kidding?  We all know this only pertains to the politically correct religion of that pagan moon god, and his wicked, nut-job prophet. Christianity is still relegated to the dumpster out back, thrown away with those little containers of sour milk, and leftovers from Michelle Obama’s approved school lunches. 

What galls me the most about the encroaching threat of Islam into this country and into our schools is that NO ONE is saying a word about it!  Church, where are you??  Put down your donuts and designer coffee at the sanctuary coffee bar, and DO something useful for once!! Lift your voices in collective outrage at the hypocritical, double standard being smeared in our face!  

What’s the deal?  You too busy being all touchy-feely emergent, or spitting on Israel to pay attention to what your little darlings are being taught in their government classrooms?  Are you really that captivated with your stupid tennis team or golf game to bother, yet you have the gall to sit back and whine about the political system, while you sit in front of your 90 inch, flat screen TV watching Jersey Shore?   

I suggest we all investigate if this outrage is occurring in our own states.  If so, who’s gonna have the intestinal fortitude to do something about it?  Who’s going to publicly call our leaders out for their failure to separate church and state in these instances?  After all, they always frantically pummel Christians into silence by continually screeching that non-existent, so-called Constitutional rule. 

 

By golly, if they are going to start pushing Islam on our children, then we need to demand Christianity be taught as well.  After all, being tolerant and espousing diversity is the politically correct name of the game, isn’t it?

 

Pray? For This Guy?

 As anyone who reads my articles with any frequency knows, I’m a little outspoken. OK, I’m a LOT outspoken, and sometimes I pay a fairly steep price for that.  The overwhelming majority of the hate mail I receive comes from other Christians.  Usually, they’re accusing me of being mean or hateful or racist or not ‘Christ-like’ for speaking the unvarnished, politically INcorrect truth about society.   

There are SO few people willing to publicly stand up and call a spade a spade these days and that’s what God has laid on my heart to do.  I’ve gladly taken up the assignment despite the flack I get from some folks because after all, the truth can be very unpleasant and inconvenient.  

When I am criticized, I take those comments to heart and ask the Lord to search me and tell me if I’m off base on what He is leading me to say.  The last thing I want to do is drive people away from the gospel.  For instance, I recently received this comment in response to a scathing article I wrote on Mr. Obama.  I’ll refrain from giving the commenter’s email address…

 

“All of your articles are full of hate. You may want to try another approach when expressing your so-called Christian opinion. Perhaps you should read a few of Daymond Duck’s articles in order to get a clear view of what true Christian writing style is all about.  Your heart wreaks of racism and hate. Seems you don’t have a clue about love. Did you ever read the part of the Bible that requires Christians to love their enemies??  Just wondering. You may not be on your way to hell lady, but you will be held accountable for spewing forth hate across the world. Just a reminder.” 

I wrote a tempered response and suggested she might want to skip my articles in the future, since what I write is so disturbing to her. This is her reply: 

“Oh, I plan to skip them in the future because it doesn’t matter where the hate that’s emitting from your writing results from.  The stench of anger is still there!!  Moreover, it doesn’t even matter whether you are stating facts, because the Bible states facts too. In fact, are we as Christians supposed to pray for our leaders??  Thought so.  Get a heart check lady.” 

I spent the better part of a day contemplating her accusations and praying about them.  OK, I’ll admit I shouldn’t have called Michelle Obama “Chewbacca.”  That was childish and unnecessary.  But should I show greater ‘love to my enemies’ and ‘pray for our leaders’ as I was told a good Christian should do?  What about it?  I tend to look to the Bible for answers instead of taking advice from other fallible human beings, so that’s where I went.  

Accusation #1:  My heart is full of hate and reeks of racism.  Anyone who knows me, even regular readers who’ve never met me know this is complete nonsense, so I won’t waste my time defending my character or answering this one. 

Accusation #2:  Christians are supposed to love their enemies.  OK, I agree with that completely. But is clearly identifying the wicked actions and words of others ‘hating my enemies?’  For instance, I pretty much loathe the Obama’s, BUT…if I happened upon a car wreck and ran to help, only to find the victims were Michelle and Barack Obama, I would render the same tender aid to them I would to anyone else.  If the victims were obviously gay or atheists or even Muslim, it would never cross my mind to walk away.  Not for a nanosecond.  

If any of these supposed ‘enemies,’ with whom I profoundly disagree in regard to their moral and spiritual beliefs and lifestyles, were hungry or in need of clothing or shelter, I would do whatever I could to meet their immediate need without hesitation. I can put my right hand on the Bible and swear under oath this is true.  

Is this not the very definition of loving your enemies??  What I do for a living testifies to this truth.  So, does the fact that I sternly denounce these people because of their actions or beliefs, translate into ‘hating’ them?  I think not. If my standing up for Biblical principals offends someone, tough!  I’m not out to win a popularity contest.  I’m called to remind others of the Holy standards of Almighty God in a very dark world.  Standards which have not changed over time. 

Accusation #3:  Christians are supposed to pray for their leaders.  Let’s look at some Bible verses pertaining to this command.  1 Timothy 2:1-2 “I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks, be made for all men; for Kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life with all godliness and honesty.” 

Then there is Romans 13: 1-2 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.  Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.”  

 

So…does that mean the Israelites were to pray for the Egyptians who held them in captivity for 400 years, and not try to resist them?  Were the Jews wrong if they didn’t pray for God to bless their Nazi tormentors?  Should the tribulation saints pray for the antichrist to prosper?? 

Or should we use our God given, common sense and look at this logically? 

Let’s continue on and look at verse 3 of Romans 13: “For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil.”  It should be obvious to anyone who is subsisting on more than brain stem function only, that Timothy was speaking of good governments as opposed to those who have fallen prey to wicked men with ideologies bent on destroying this country!  

“Oh please, President Obama, let me pray God blesses the work of your hands and that your plans prosper! Oh, how Godly I am for praying for my leaders!”  Puleeze.  Are there actually people out there that are THAT dense? Oh yeah, apparently there are, thus the purpose of this article.  

Why in the world are pastors all over this country, trying to lead their congregations into capitulating to Congressional and White House officials who are committing heinous crimes against the American people?  You really think God is pleased with a stance that ignorant and misguided?  If so, then our Founding Fathers were wrong for rising up and calling the tyranny of England for what it was!   

Do you honestly believe God expects His people to support this administration and Congress, no matter what they do, or what laws they pass?  As Christians, are we expected to uphold and support the authority governing us no matter what, and refrain from criticizing our leaders?  Well, that’s a loaded diaper of reasoning.  

David J. Stewart, of the website, Biblical Submission to Government, states, “We are NOT to support a President just because he’s President.  Yes, we are expected to obey authority, even flawed authority, because there is no perfect authority; HOWEVER, when we enter the realm of CRIMINAL behavior on the part of our elected officials that is an entirely different ballgame.” 

This administration has spent the last 4 years, quietly leaching away our God given rights as free people.  Obama has signed one Executive Order after another, authorizing himself more and more dictatorial control of this country, and our elected Congressional leaders have sat on their thumbs and allowed him do it.  As the police state continues to grow, we are subjected to more and more assaults on our freedoms. WE should not be afraid of our government. THEY should be terrified of US! 

Mr. Stewart goes on to say, “I’m so sick and tired of seeing our largest churches, who have the most influence, do the least to wake people up concerning the truth. They’ve got their fancy chandeliers, high-powered air-conditioning, extravagant buildings, and “culture”; BUT…they take little or no stand whatsoever against the evils working within our government which are DESTROYING AMERICA!!  America is going to hell because its churches are afraid to speak the truth.  There is nothing more wicked than the INDIFFERENCE of today’s believers!  If we, as Christians, truly walked with God, then we’d be angry over sin, like Billy Sunday was!  Jesus became angry over sin in John 2:15!  Most pastors wouldn’t DARE tell their church members that their sons and daughters fighting over in Iraq are being EXPLOITED for selfish, corporate interests which have absolutely nothing to do with defending America.” 

We are constantly bombarded with propaganda from mainstream news sources, TV shows, Hollywood movies and even misguided Christian authors and preachers. We’re pressured into staying publicly silent concerning our government’s evils.  If we make truthful statements that don’t speak well or are even hostile to this administration, we supposedly aren’t representing Christ.  This is basically what my reader accused me of doing. Strongly criticizing Obama and his administration is akin to spreading hate and racism.  HOGWASH! 

Psalm 94:16 says, “Who will rise up for me against the evildoers?  Or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?”  Oh, but that’s spreading ‘hate!’  We mustn’t call a spade a spade.  We should let the country continue on its downslide to hell; after all, up is the new down, and wrong is the new right.  Right?  WRONG! 

There is NO verse in the Bible which states we are to be mindless slaves to the government.  Mr. Stewart says, “America is being subverted from within by Communist agendas.  America is largely Communist today.  We have been sold out by many of our entrusted political, judicial and legislative leaders.”  

The very sad fact of this statement is that it was written in April 2007.   I wonder what Mr. Stewart thinks of how far we’ve fallen from God, the Bill of Rights and our Constitutional protections and freedoms today, in 2012!  He’s probably speechless with righteous anger, just like I am.  

Back in January 2009, WND writer, Joseph Farah wrote the following: “Nowhere does the Bible ever suggest evil rulers are to be obeyed. When the rule of men conflicts with the commands of God, the bible leaves no doubt about where we should stand. I want Obama to fail because his agenda is 100 percent at odds with God’s. If government commands you to do evil, as a Christian you must resist. There is no alternative. This is a time for principled Biblical resistance, not phony Christian appeasement.” 

So, after examining my heart before God, finding some Biblical rocks to stand on, I have a clear conscience about the things I’ve said about this government and the Obamas personally. There is no hate in me for anyone.  But buddy, you’d dang well better believe there is plenty of righteous anger!  I HATE what my America has become!  I HATE that my precious son and your precious children and grandchildren will not know the wonders of freedom and prosperity we knew growing up.  

I am enraged that the Communist, progressive left, has hijacked this country and is hell bent on forcing their fantasy of some Marxist, eugenic utopia on ‘we the people.’ And I am filled with blind fury and disgust at the media in this country, in all its insidious forms, for being complicit in worshipping and aiding the lies of the far left and the Obama administration.  

All Americans aren’t ignorant of their devices.  Some of us are awake and are not afraid to speak the ugly truth of what their plans for this country are.  They’re disgusting and wicked and, despite any criticisms or accusations of being full of hate or racism, or being a poor example of a Christian, I fully intend to keep speaking the truth as far and loud as I can, for as long as I can!  I cannot help but do so, because that’s what the Master I serve has called me to do.  

Again, dear readers, if what I say offends you please take advantage of my suggestion; don’t read my articles, because what I say, and the way I say it is NOT gonna change.  Fair warning.
