Welcome everyone

This blog is a constructive way for me to comment on some of the stupid, politically correct bs I see in the news everyday. And it IS bs. Complete crap most of the time.

For instance, I am dismayed at the deliberate, insidious encroachment of Islam into the USA.  Dearborn Michigan is all but lost and its population is overrun by Muslims. Now these wonderful, peace loving people wouldn't normally be a problem. However, they are running for city offices and have been trying to establish Sharia law to govern themselves. In our country.

The wonderful TV channel TLC plans to air a new series...An American Muslim.  No kidding!  The preview showed American born people in Dearborn who have converted to Islam as well as Muslims who have immigrated to this country, and their perfectly normal way of life. After all, they're, "just like any other American."  (NOT)

I hate to point this out to them, but other Americans are not commanded in the Bible to kill or enslave those around them who don't wish to become Christians. Their "Holy Book" the Koran DOES indeed command them to do this to others. If they deny this in any way, they are flat out liars. I know this because I read about half of the Koran, but due to a stong bout of nausea, had to quit.

I don't know if you heard this in the news last week, but in Seattle, at the Sea-Tac Airport, Hertz Rent-A-Car fired 26 Muslim employees who freely refused to sign an agreement that they would abide by company policy.  The policy, which applies to ALL the employees, states that they are allowed 2 ten minute breaks per 8 hours of work and can do whatever they want during that time, but they are expected to clock out and back in when the break is over.

These Muslims, who are SO very special, had the bad habit of exceeding their break time and only sporadically clocked out. They were suspended and given the option to sign the agreement to be reinstated to their positions. They refused because they said they didn't have enough time to perform their prayers as demanded by Islam. Whahhhh...sniff, sniff.

As we all know, as nauseum, they are commanded to face Mecca and pray 5 times a day. Hertz had previously gone out of their way to accomodate this 'need' by setting aside a private room for this purpose. A private room where they could pray!  But, apparently, this was not good enough for them so they took advantage of their employer's kindness and failed to observe company rules, pushy as they are.

Hmmm. I don't remember any employer of mine setting aside a private room where I could pray to God. I don't recall having the gall to demand my boss allow me to dress in whatever religious garb I felt was necessary to honor my God.

I wonder if TLC will produce a series called, An American Christian. Or An American Hindu. Or An American Buddist. Or An American satan Worshipper.     I won't hold my breath.

Islam is slowly pushing its way into American society and we are stupid and cowed enough by the loud mouthed, politically correct morons to stand by and allow this sociological cancer to spread unchecked. I refuse to keep quiet anymore.

This is MY blog and I'm gonna speak the truth that the average, hardworking American is thinking but is too intimidated to admit, and if anyone is offended then don't read any further because there is plenty more of this to come.

Oh boy, this is gonna be fun!

While I generally found your comments interseting and understandable, I do take issue with the quote above.

It is true that the Bible doesn't expressly command people to kill those who do not wish to become Christians. That fact, however, never stopped the Manifest Destiny folks (or myriad groups that came after) from pretending that it did. If you doubt it, read any book on the "discovery and settlement" of the American continent and what happened next. Better yet, watch the PBS series "We Will Remain." The series gives a good general overview of how this continent's original inhabitants were treated by those who discovered them.

I've always thought that people's fear about this or that group who come to America in large numbers, is a direct memory reaction to what happened when Europeans first came here. A "we did it to them, sooner or later someone will do the same to us" uneasiness in the pit of our collective gut.

Don't get me wrong, I don't welcome Muslim shenanigans or any attempt to subvert our society. But I don't welcome it from the Tea Party, the Religious Right, (so-called) Moral Majority, or the corporatocracy either.

Like I said, we are not commanded in our 'Holy' book to kill or enslave those who choose not to become Christians. We are to live by its commandments and to love others as we love ourselves. Obviously, not everyone throughout history heeded those directions. Those who twist Biblical scripture to justify their own selfish aims will answer to God.

DW, I enjoy your articles on RR enough to actually read all your posts from the beginning. At two or three a day till I catch up. Meanwhile, of course, I'll be reading your latest posts.
